Scholarship

The Arizona Association of Environmental Professionals (AZAEP) seeks one outstanding graduate and one undergraduate student for their Scholarship. Each scholarship will carry an award of $1,000.00. The objective of the scholarship is to assist a graduate and an undergraduate students enrolled or starting full-time in a degree program at a four-year accredited Arizona college or university in preparation for a career path in an environmental or related field. Students must be enrolled or starting full-time as stipulated by their program requirements.

Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend the AZAEP Networking Event in September 2025 to receive their scholarship.

Evaluation of the application will be based on the following application materials:
(1) Personal statement addressing educational and career goals, and how the scholarship will be used;
(2) Demonstrate a passion for improving the community through environmental or related field;
(3) Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the benefit of an interdisciplinary approach to environmental or related field that incorporates social, economic, and environmental values; and
(4) Two letters of recommendation.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all materials are received by the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
