COMMITTEES




 FUNDRAISING

     ♣ The purpose of the Fundraising Committee is to generate funds that can be used by AZAEP for operating expenses and events, as well as for the annual student scholarships. We would like to fund the travel costs for out-of-state speakers, sending an AZAEP Board member to quarterly NAEP meetings and a student to attend the annual NAEP conference. Funds are also needed to purchase awards and appreciation gifts for speakers, host an annual holiday party, maintain the website, and to pay for other basic administrative costs.

 STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AND MENTORING

     ♣ The Student Scholarship and Mentoring Committee will match working professionals with undergraduate and graduate students for networking, socializing, and mentoring. The Program will help foster connections that keep the “old pros” in touch with the latest research being conducted by students, and provide a venue for students to find out about different career tracks. The Scholarship Committee reviews and evaluates applicants for the annual Scholarship Award.

 SPEAKER'S BUREAU/WORKSHOP DEVELOPMENT

     ♣ This committee will seek out hot topics facing our profession today, invite speakers and organize workshops for professional development. Collateral duties: Events, Parties Membership/Regional Development.

 MEMBERSHIP/REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

     ♣ This committee will recruit new members, address membership benefits and concerns, coordinate with other chapters in the region, and serve as a liaison with NAEP. Collateral duties: Administration/Regulations.
